Dante Tam

I love to play games! I am developing world simulations of civilization inspired by Dwarf Fortress, Rimworld, and Minecraft. In the real world I love poker, chess, and bridge. Also play everything from Crusader Kings to Total War Warhammer to Apex Legends.

In the past I've developed a turn-based strategy loosely based on Civilization IV/V for desktop, a new version for Android as well, and a roguelike dungeon crawler. My casual research delves into OpenGL rendering in Java (LWJGL) with shaders, and graphics rendering through interleaved vertex buffer objects. I also have a few cute web simulations including a galactic strategy game.

Computer science and creative writing both follow chains of logic. That's why I've written my fantasy sci-fi adventure about the world we live in, inspired by Dante and Milton. Endless Paradise

In the professional world, I interned at Roblox in its relatively early days of 2013. Later on at PayPal I built merchant website products like financial dashboards. Currently I develop open-source SDKs for Amplitude, to allow users to improve their product experiences on mobile apps and websites across multiple platforms, including Unity, Java (JVM), and Android.

Personally I love my electric bike, essentially a low powered electric motorcycle. I'm obsessed with ramen, pho, and hot pot. I have a casual portfolio of technical architecture designs and more fantasy architecture scenes. If you've gotten this far please reach out over LinkedIn or at
